The Citizen Tsuyosa Calavera Nocturna brings Día de los Muertos to the wrist in full maximalist glory. This hand-painted custom dial features a decorated sugar skull wearing a red and green striped sombrero at its center, surrounded by maracas, bones, butterflies, ornamental swirls, and flowers that fill every millimeter of the dark surface. Each element draws from Mexican folk art tradition – dense, colorful, and completely unafraid. Built on the Citizen Tsuyosa’s 40mm cushion-shaped stainless steel case with chamfered edges and integrated three-link bracelet, this timepiece pairs artistic expression with everyday reliability. The Caliber 8210 automatic movement delivers 42 hours of power reserve, while anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the artwork and an exhibition caseback reveals the movement in action.
